A featured exhibition film produced for The Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History in Philadelphia, as part of their landmark exhibition, The First Salute: An Untold Story of the American Revolution.
Shot on location among the historic ruins of the ancient Honen Dalim synagogue in Sint Eustatius, the production blends stunning animation that visually restores the historic synagogue to life. Set to a moving, specially re-recorded rendition of Leonard Cohen's evocative song, "If It Be Your Will," the film beautifully captures the extraordinary history of the island's 18th-century Jewish merchants who risked everything to support the American colonies.
